| Role Description |
SOMMELIER - MICHELIN STAR - LANCASHIRE - LIVE IN Sommelier required for this Michelin Star establishment in Lancashire. They are looking for a Sommelier who has experience of working within a gastronomic restaurant and someone who is looking to work within a Michelin Star establishment. You will be a passionate wine professional and your role will involve providing a courteous and efficient service to all guests and maintaining the levels of service to the highest standards. |
| Required Experience |
As Sommelier you will be responsible helping and developing the wine service in the whole restaurant. and duties will include offering a full wine service to guests and therefore you will have a thorough knowledge of all menu and wine list offerings and have the ability to advise each guest on certain wines and offer food and wine combinations.
The restaurant has held a Michelin Star for over 10 years and is set within a luxurious country house hotel which is owned by a Head Chef Proprietor who is renowned throughout the UK. They serve up to 60 covers per service and are busy for both lunch and dinner and offer a full A La Carte Menu plus Gastronomic Taster Menu. The hotel also caters for special events and holds gastronomic weeks where guest chefs will be in charge of the kitchen and they also hold special wine tasting evenings.
This role would suit a professional sommelier looking for a new challenge and looking to offer their services and professionalism within a new environement. Or alternatively the role may suit a more junior sommelier looking to work at the highest level where ongoing training will be provided in order to expand your wine knowledge further. |
